An app for meeting people in real life, for friends or dating. People around you show if a hello is welcome.
Sam moved to the city a month ago and still doesn't know anyone. At the Saturday market, someone about Sam's age is browsing the same stall, alone. A quick look at Rightt: Open to new friends. Sam puts the phone away and asks which coffee here is actually good. They're still arguing about it three weeks later, now over coffee every Saturday.
A friends-only status makes a friendly hello feel normal.
One side: Jordan has noticed someone across the cafe and wants to say hi, but the usual doubts creep in. Are they single? Would it be weird? Jordan checks Rightt: Single · Open to being approached. Phone away. Deep breath. Jordan walks over. The other side: Riley noticed Jordan first, and was too shy to go over. Then Jordan is standing at the table, saying hi. Later, Riley remembers setting that status. Oh. That's why.
One status, set ahead of time, said "I'm open" without a word.
Tell people nearby where you stand. You can set more than one at a time, for example open to new friends and open to being approached together. Change them whenever you like.
You're out at a cafe, a park, or anywhere you already go. A quick look at Rightt shows who around you has said they're open to a hello, and what kind.
If they're open and you'd like to meet, walk over and introduce yourself the normal way. There's no chat and no swiping; the hello happens face to face. The app's job is done.
Want a break? Set places like your office or gym to off the grid, and you won't appear there.
Get early accessA Rightt card is short on purpose. You share only what you want to, and every field is optional.

Friends is a real choice here, not a softer word for dating.
Rightt only works if everyone feels comfortable using it. So you decide what you share, when you're visible, and where.
Say hi. Take the hint. Be kind.
Rightt isn't something to scroll through all evening. There's no chat and no swiping; people introduce themselves in person. It exists for the few seconds before a real hello, and then it gets out of the way.
It used to start like this. It still can.
In 1985, you crossed the diner and said hi. Now everyone's heads are down, swiping. Rightt keeps the nervous, exciting first hello, with one update: the other person has already said they're open to it.
Bring back hello.

It's a meeting app. Some people are open to dating, some want new friends, and some are taken and just want to meet people. You can hold more than one status at once, and everyone's card says which.
Yes. Set your status to Taken, or Taken and Open to new friends together, and everyone knows where you stand from the start.
It means you're happy for someone to come over and say a friendly hello. It isn't a promise of anything more, and you can say no at any time.
Rightt only holds and shows your location when you turn sharing on and you're outside an off-the-grid zone. Otherwise your location isn't just hidden; it isn't held at all. You can also set places where you never appear.
Set Please don't approach me, or go off the grid. Either way, it's your call.
No. There's no in-app chat and no swiping. If someone's open and you'd like to meet, walk over and say hi in person.
